Thomas Steiglehner is a Vice President of the Company and a Managing Director of TSSP. From 2003 to 2010 Mr. Steiglehner worked at Silver Point Capital where he co-founded the firm’s principal investing effort, Silver Point Finance, which grew to be a multi-billion dollar business. He played a key role in building all aspects of the business including originating, structuring, investing and monitoring investments across the entire capital structure. From 2002 to 2003, Mr. Steiglehner was a Senior Vice President at Wells Fargo Foothill, the $8 billion commercial finance company of Wells Fargo and Company, where he originated, structured, syndicated and executed financings for special situations, leveraged buyouts and acquisitions. From 1996 to 2002, he was a director at Gleacher and Co., a merchant bank, engaged in leveraged finance (including high yield, mezzanine and senior debt), principal investments, and strategic and financial advisory services. While at Gleacher and Co., Mr. Steiglehner was responsible for building the firm’s Southeastern United States presence with an Atlanta-based partner. Mr. Steiglehner began his career at the Chase Manhattan Bank investing in distressed companies and restructuring and working out the bank’s proprietary positions. He also was a Federal District Court law clerk in the Southern District of New York and the Eastern District of Louisiana. He holds an A.B in History from Princeton University and received his JD, cum laude from Tulane University.
